Tres Coronas | The Street Album
Hip Hop lives…En Español!!!
Hip Hop music has been going through an evolution and now the Latino
community has embraced it. The members of Tres Coronas have been living this
culture from the streets of Colombia, France and NYC. Since 2001 they have
independently produced and distributed two mix-tapes that sold over ten
thousand copies in Spain, Colombia and other countries. In 2006 the Latin
Hip Hop group put out a CD/DVD album through Machete Music called "Nuestra
Cosa".
On June 11th 2007, Tres Coronas' "Street Album" hits the streets. This is
another independent project by Parcero Production. The Colombian duo has put
together an explosive album with hardcore beats and conscious lyrics.
Controlling their own destiny P.N.O and Rocca have been able to invest in
this album and will be producing their own music videos. This will keep the
fan base hungry for their next label project in the fall of 2007 by Machete
music.
P.N.O. "We are real excited with this project because once again we've been
able to improve and enhance the quality of Latin hip-hop which you can
appreciate from the lyrics, production and flows."
Rocca: "We are always working in the Lab making music and this is a taste of
something fresh with new flows and new themes for songs."
Singles:
"A Críticarme" shouts out the all those critics who shoot down Latin hip hop
and Tres Coronas. It's a song that smacks those people who don't believe in
the Latin hip hop movement and say "it's too commercial or it's too
hardcore". P.N.O and Rocca kill it with their Latin down-south flow.
"New York" brings it back to the basics of hip hop. With a dark beat, this
song takes you to the cold and honest streets of NYC. Featuring Dominican
rapper Veneno, this anthem will remind you of the birth of Hip Hop but from
a Latino point of view.
For the Street Album, the intension is to sell it online and promote it
mostly through the internet. The music videos will be premiered online on
sites like AmericanLatino.tv and store.brownpride.com and of course their
official website, trescoronas.net.
The Colombian connection continues with music producer P. Castro (Sonido
Entertainment) and sound engineered by Sergio Parra (Square Deal Music).
Television producer Renzo Devia from American Latino TV & LatiNation has
signed on as manager helping Tres Coronas in their career.
