Latin Hip-Hop on Fox 11 News (3.05.03)

This coming Sunday Fox Network News will be featuring their third special report on the Latino influence on Hip-Hop culture. Their previous features consisted of Hit-A-Lick Records, interviewing rap veterans Frost, Slow Pain, Nino Brown, and star producer Tony G. Then they did a story on the Los Angeles-based radio station Power 106 show “Pocos Pero Locos.” Interviewing disc jockeys Kool-Aid and Johnny Cuero about their first all Latin Rap format radio show. Now Fox11 interviewed us (Digital Aztlan) this past weekend along with Brown Town Looters, The 5th Battalion, El Nuevo Xol, Rhyme Asylum, and others regarding the Latino Hip-Hop underground movement we been documenting on BrownPride.com since we started in 1997. With the nationwide release of the much-anticipated DVD “Pass The Mic!”, the timing couldn’t have been any better. Tune into the Fox’s nationally televised news (Channel 11 in Los Angeles) on (3/05/2003) at 10 p.m. for their exclusive report on Brown Hip-Hop, created by us for us…
