Panteon Rococo announce U.S.A. tour dates

After a successful and rewarding participation of PANTEON ROCOCO at the mega concert Jamming Fest in Colombia, with an audience of more than 20,000 people who sang and danced with Mexico's most important ska fusion group, the "Panteones" (as their fans call them as well) announced the dates of their upcoming U.S. tour. The tour called 'Ni Carne Ni Pescado' will be the official introduction of their most recent album, which was released in this country last December. They will kick off their tour on August 2, at San Diego, and end it on the East coast, in New York.

Being creators of songs such as "La Dosis Perfecta", "Vendedora de Caricias", "Buscándote" and "Arréglame el Alma", to mention only a few of Panteon Rococo's undisputable hits, the group keeps adding dates to their long international tour, announcing their U.S. tour and confirming, among other excellent performances, several mega festivals in Mexico, including their participation at the Corona Fest at the majestic Estadio Azteca, on June 22, where over 80,000 people are expected to attend.

With over 25 million combined hits of their official YouTube videos and other few millions of the unofficial videos, Panteón Rococó is an emblematic group that represents more than one generation. The group is constantly growing and has been together for 17 years. It consists of 18 musicians who have known each other and shared experiences since junior college. The group's biography and international success is a fascinating story that has been made into an excellent hour-long documentary for the popular television show México Suena. This documentary, produced by Televisa, Editorial Televisa and Ocesa, is being narrated by the group's members themselves and can also be watched via Youtube. As part of the TV show, the documentary will also be available in book format; it will be published at the end of the year. Said documentary includes a live concert at Telehit's studio that covers select songs from the 9 albums that make up the group's discography, including their latest CD called "Ni Carne Ni Pescado."

Panteón Rococó is undoubtedly one of the most renowned and internationally acclaimed Mexican groups. Their 14 world tours that have taken them to the most prestigious festivals in Europe and Latin America where they played in over 30 countries and shared the stage with great names, among others REM, Seeed, Marilyn Manson, Pixies, Manu Chao, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sex Pistols, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead and Foo Fighters, make for a worthwhile story to be told.
